Focusing on Community and Belonging

This week's assembly focused upon community and belonging and was presented by Year 11 students.
Year 11 students Rameez and Zonia presented a brilliangt assembly about how being in a community can bring a sense of belonging and togetherness.
Communities can be powerful; positives of being a part of a community can bring with it connections to others, opportunities to build friendships, learn new skills and explore interests.
During the assembly, a competition was launched to add artwork to the school's site hoardings, making them more visually appealing and reflective of our Greenshaw community. The competition is to design an image/piece of artwork that reflects our community.
The winning artists will have their designs created, and a collage will be displayed on community notice boards around the site. We will have one winner in each year group. The artwork will enhance the exterior appearance of the school during the building project for passers-by and the wider community.
More details can be found on each year group's school council Frog page.
