Our personal development offer
At Greenshaw High School we value personal development, alongside academic achievement. This is critical to achieving success in any person’s life and, as a result, recognise the importance of teaching this explicitly to students during their time with us. We have carefully crafted the pursuit of character into our formal and our informal curriculum.
The emphasis we place on character is tangible in every area of school life; from our five cultural
expectations that are mounted in every classroom and our broad and rich PSHE curriculum, to our regular celebration events and enrichment opportunities. We believe it our core mission to provide an excellent education, foster positive and healthy relationships, support students to become emotionally resilient, and respect and celebrate differences in others, contributing to the school and wider
community.
