Staff contacts
We believe the support and confidence of parents is essential to student welfare.
The first point of contact for parents and carers should usually be the student’s form tutor. Email addresses for form tutors are available on the school website.
There may also be occasions when parents may wish to contact senior members of staff. If the matter is urgent, a senior member of staff will usually see parents and carers as soon as possible, but not without an appointment. Please email or telephone via the school office – where an appointment can usually be arranged at short notice.
Meeting with school staff
Please be aware that we are not able to make appointments for families to see staff without prior notice. If you do come into school asking to see a member of staff, our office team will take your details and leave a message for that colleague to contact you when they are available.
We may be able to see whether anyone else is available if it is urgent. If there are no other members of staff free, we will ring you later on to make sure the best person is able to answer your query. Most of the time, it is most effective if you leave a message or speak to our office team by phone. We aim to get back to families within two working days, give or take any busy periods.
