Inspiring future female engineers

Year 7 and 8 girls visit Morden Train Centre.
A small group of enthusiastic Year 7 and 8 girls had the opportunity to visit Morden Train Centre for International Women’s Day, where they explored careers in engineering and machinery.
During the visit, students engaged with professionals at the centre, gaining valuable insights into the industry. They took part in hands-on activities, including moving a stationary train, interactive strategy games, and an in-depth exploration of life at a train centre.
It was an inspiring and educational experience, encouraging our female students to consider future careers in STEM fields.
