Investigating urban issues

This week, our GCSE Geography students embarked on an exciting field trip to Stratford, London, as part of their urban issues and challenges unit.

They conducted questionnaires and environmental quality surveys, focusing on the contrasting areas of the Carpenters Estate and the Olympic East Village. The students worked diligently, engaging with residents to gather valuable insights into urban regeneration and quality of life.

Their impeccable behaviour and enthusiasm throughout the day made us incredibly proud, showcasing the best of our school community. This hands-on experience brought their classroom learning to life and will undoubtedly enrich their understanding of geographical concepts.
