Learning to be life savers!

8RCK were the first Year 8 group to take part in a workshop learning and practising key life saving skills.

Clare from The Paul Alan Project delivered the session at Greenshaw High School, teaching the students how to perform CPR and be confident in using a defibrillator.

The workshops are being delivered as part of the Year 8 PSHE 'responding to an emergency' unit.

All the students were a credit to the school. Claire said: "The young people that I trained today were just spectacular – polite, engaged, respectful and knowledgeable. It was an absolute pleasure and I am looking forward to the rest of the sessions."
