Sutton School Council

Greenshaw students take part in Sutton student council.

Greenshaw High School students Yoomi, Melodee, Jeremiah and Jaedine attended the Sutton school student council today discussing the topic of knife crime with Elliot Colburn, Conservative MP for Carshalton and Wallington. Elliot discussed a variety of ways to reduce and combat knife crime and took many thoughtful questions from Greenshaw  students.

Sutton Grammar School presented a ‘Safety in Sutton survey’ for young people which has been uploaded onto our student Frog page in recent weeks. The aim of the survey is to gather data from Sutton student voices to highlight areas where young people feel safe and less safe. In response to the survey, students are planning to work with the council to try to make changes to safety in the borough for young people.
