West London Model UN Conference 2025

The West London Model UN conference took place on Saturday 1st February at the American School, London.
Fourteen of our Year 12 students were invited, alongside students from twenty-two other schools.
Assigned the role of diplomats from various countries, our students attended committees on peace, justice and building strong institutions. They formally discussed and passed resolutions on issues such as child online safety or world peace. After a welcoming open ceremony, the 'diplomats' spent the whole day in their assigned committees and fought hard to collaborate and debate effectively with other 'delegate members of state' in order to work towards common goals.
At the awards ceremony in the late afternoon, the ten committees directors and chair persons presented awards for: Best Speaker, Most Diplomatic, Honourable Mention and Best Position Paper. We were proud to receive five prestigious awards, even better than our efforts at this event last year.
